Documents you need

Important warnings

  • • Never pay anyone to 'add' your name — the entire process is free.
  • • Each voter can have only ONE Voter ID. Having two is a punishable offence.

Step by step

    Open voters.eci.gov.in and sign up with mobile OTP.

    For new voter: fill Form 6.

  3. 3

    For correction or address change: fill Form 8.

    Upload photo (200 KB max) and documents (PDF/JPG, 2 MB max each).

    Submit. Note the Reference Number.

    BLO will visit your home to verify address.

  7. 7

    After verification, download your digital Voter ID (e-EPIC) from the portal.

    Physical EPIC card comes by post in 30-45 days.
